Marianna Trontsiou was born in Thessaloniki and studied painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts, with professors M. Spiliopoulos and P. Chandris from 2005 to 2011. during the academic year 2009, she studied at the Weißensee Kunsthochschule in Berlin, with an IKY scholarship. She has also completed her studies in Conservation of Antiquities and Works of Art, Department of Paintings and Archival Material (2000-2005). She has presented two solo exhibitions at the Athens Art Gallery and has taken part in various group exhibitions in Greece and abroad. She has illustrated children’s books and received two awards in 2008 (R.S.I competition award, «road behavior and road safety») and in 2009 (TT Hellenic Postbank competition award «SOCIETY OF RESPONSIBILITY – ECONOMY & ENVIRONMENT») .
